Opened in
1971 Knowsley Safari Park is one of the biggest and best safari parks in the
UK. Knowsley Safari Park now has a five mile safari drive with lions, tiger,
white rhino and our infamous troop of olive baboons. The park also has a large
walkaround area offering close up views of elephants, giraffe, meerkats otters
and many more animals.
We are
currently recruiting for Presenters who have a talent for informing and
inspiring our visitors to work alongside our Education Department. You will
work from 11:30 until 15:30 engaging with, and performing to, our visitors in
both a one-to-one capacity and group presentations
You will be
confident and enthusiastic as well as hold a keen interest in wildlife and
conservation. You will receive full support in learning new material and
assistance in developing your presenting style. Experience of working with
children is desirable, however the confidence and ability to engage with people
of all ages is most important.
The
contract will start on 16 March 13 for a week of induction and training, with
presentations starting on 23 March 13 and will run through to the end of October
half term. Flexibility is required as the successful candidates will be
required to work weekends and bank holidays. The rate of pay will be £6.50 per
hour.
