Full Time (42.5
hours per week including one weekend day and working bank holidays)
Salary: £14,807 - £16,300 per annum dependent on
experience
Tropical Wings Zoo
is a small but forward-thinking and dynamic organisation with an emphasis on
interaction and education. We are
seeking a dynamic, confident and bubbly individual to join our team of
Keeper/Presenters for the summer season.
As a keen presenter
you will engage visitors about our animals, conservation and the natural world,
presenting information in a lively and interesting way to large audiences and
interacting with visitors during encounters.
You will also be involved in certain aspects of animal care and
training.
In order to be
successful in this fantastic position you will have:
- Experience
of delivering presentations in a similar capacity
- Excellent
communication skills and be highly innovative, enthusiastic and motivated
- Fantastic
customer service skills
- The
willingness and ability to learn a vast amount of information about our animals
- Excellent
presentation skills
- An
animal related qualification would be desirable but proven confidence with a
wide range of animals is more important
- Experience
in the education sector would be desirable
