Marwell Zoo, with its wide array of exotic and endangered species and the

An exciting
opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Keeper to join our Primates & Small
Mammals team on a full time basis. Our Qualified Keepers must have a strong
generalist background with zoological experience as they may be required to
work on a variety of sections. On this occasion however, an interest and
previous experience with Primates would also be an advantage
Qualified Keepers
are responsible for carrying out all aspects of animal care, including
husbandry routines, managerial operations and environmental enrichment, and
supporting veterinary intervention as required.
The successful
candidate will be able to work well as part of a team, have the ability to use
their initiative, display an interest in and commitment to animal welfare and
conservation, and must possess strong communication skills
