VET NURSE - CHINA BEAR RESCUE CENTRE
Animals Asia and the China Bear Rescue Centre aims to rescue and
rehabilitate bears, cats, dogs and provide life-long care for rescued animals
at our award-winning sanctuary. This is your chance to join our new, but highly
experience vet team and help make the world a kinder place for ALL animals.
You will be primarily based at our China Bear Rescue Centre, in
Longqiao, Chengdu, but could have opportunities to help animals throughout the
nation as needed. You are flexible and enjoy the challenge of working remotely.
You will contribute to the constantly evolving field of bear medicine and
management and will be expected to have a high degree of clinical skill and a
passion for ongoing self-education.
You should have plenty of initiative and should be comfortable
with both clinical and non-clinical work. There is a high degree of autonomy in
this position, and while you will work closely with other team members you will
have distinct areas of independent responsibility.
You are highly motivated, experienced, and empathetic. You are
passionate about animal welfare and people. You have highly developed
interpersonal skills, and get deep satisfaction and fulfilment from providing
hands on training in animal care and welfare.
