Tayto Park,
established in 2010, is a dynamic zoo, adventure & theme park located in
Co. Meath, Ireland and less than one hour from Dublin.
You will part of a
team dedicated to providing an excellent level of husbandry, training, and
wellbeing for our bird of prey collection.
For the right candidate, this post offers a fantastic opportunity to
work with an incredible variety of birds of prey in our progressive bird of
prey centre in the zoo.
The successful
applicant will be an experienced bird trainer (Falconer) preferably with 5 or
more year’s full-time employment working with and training a variety of bird of
prey species. It is essential that applicants have experience and are
physically able to train and work with free lofted eagles in our flying
display. Candidates should also be
experienced in facilitating flying demonstrations for the public and
communicating a strong conservation message.
You must be a
hard-working, team-player with strong attention to detail.
