Role Profile

ZSL is seeking a qualified keeper to work on the new Predator section at Whipsnade Zoo. The role will involve the day to day husbandry of mammals including African lions, Amur tigers, African hunting dogs, Brown bears, Sloth bear, Northern cheetah as well as a range of smaller carnivore species. Applicants must have a passion for working with a variety of animals within a Zoo environment and experience with high security animals is fundamental. This position will also assist the Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader and other Senior Keepers in all aspects of their work but primarily the care of the animals, ensuring high standards of animal welfare, animal husbandry.
