To strengthen our team we are looking for a
bird keeper (m / f)
We are a passionate and specialized nursery of
exceptional fruit-eating birds. We
mainly focus on the beautiful toucan. We
breed these birds for zoos and individuals throughout the world. The quality of our birds and the knowledge
that we have gained over the years has gained worldwide respect.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for that one man or woman, with
an innate love for birds and with an alert eye for bird watching. The man or woman who sees when a bird is
wrong or needs something.
You are someone who does everything to take
care of the accommodation and development of the birds to perfection. The importance of the animals is without a
doubt paramount. You ensure perfect
hygiene, you feed the birds punctually according to schedule and document the
growth and development accurately in our systems. There is a lot involved with the rearing of
young birds and you do it with great dedication.
So you are at home in many markets. You are passionate, precise, active and
alert. Working with animals gives you a
lot of responsibility and you should always take that in the interest of the
birds. In addition, it is imperative
that you use the nursery knowledge discreetly.
Training is not crucial in order to qualify
for the job, but a veterinary assistant's training would fit very well in this
position.
Do not you speak Dutch? German or English also suits us perfectly.
What can we offer you:
You will work at the leading and ambitious
breeding center for Toucan-like in Europe located in North Brabant. You will learn a lot about these birds and
you will become acquainted with the entire process. The owner will guide you and from him you
learn the tricks of the trade. In
addition, you will come into contact with the leading specialists in the field
of veterinary, pathology and nutrition.
We offer you a year of work. In the rest period (November - April) you
make fewer hours and in the breeding period (May - October) you make more hours
(including weekend services). With us
you work in an ambitious environment and in a pleasant atmosphere where you
will have nice contact with colleagues.

The location of our breeding center (in the
middle of nature) offers you the opportunity to combine relaxation and outdoor
sports with your work.
