FdSc Course Preparation Assistant
12 Months Fixed Term Contract
22.5 hours per week, starting immediately.
Salary Range - £17,000 - £18,500 per annum pro rata



To assist Zoo staff in preparing for the delivery of the new Foundation Degree in Integrated Wildlife Conservation, delivered in partnership with Filton College and the University of the West of England.

Reporting to the Head of Research, the successful applicant will be expected to:

• Coordinate and assist in the preparation of the FdSc Integrated Wildlife Conservation course including the coordination of work placements for the 'work experience' modules.

• To research and write module handbooks for those modules that the Zoo will be leading on.

• To produce teaching material that can be used by the lecturers from the Zoo.

• To research course literature in order to prepare for the launch of the course.
