Education Officer
Salary range £17,400 - £17,823 per annum
Our Learning Department requires a full-time Education Officer to provide maternity cover starting during November 2011; the position could last for up to one year.
You will be required to teach sessions within the Zoo’s purpose-built Conservation Education Centre, on a range of topics, to booked groups of varying age and ability; also to assist with many other tasks within the Department, including seasonal activities.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, wildlife and conservation knowledge with the enthusiasm to share this with others. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must be flexible and able to work under pressure. Basic ICT skills are essential.
