Tropical Wings Zoo
is a small family run zoo focusing on educating and inspiring all to respect
animals and their environment.
We are currently
looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic
individual with a lifelong passion for all animals to join our dedicated team
of animal care staff.
The role involves:
General animal
husbandry duties performed to very high standards.
Daily encounters
requiring good presentation skills.
The ability to
interact with visitors of all ages.
Requirements:
- Previous animal husbandry experience
within a zoological or animal collection essential
- An animal related qualification
- Driving licence preferred due to
location
- Excellent communication skills and be
able to participate fully in our education and presentation programmes
This interesting and
demanding job includes working Bank Holidays and other weekend days if we have
specia events planned.
