We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has a good sense of humour coupled with excellent communication skills. A willingness to work hard and be a team player is very important to us. As a member of bird staff you must be prepared to liaise and work closely with all centre staff and volunteers.

However you must show a strong desire to learn, study and improve your knowledge and skills base.

The position is 40 hours a week over 5 days including weekends and bank holidays with time off in lieu. These hours are subject to change over the year and applicants need to be flexible in their approach. Days off are likely to be in the week.

Further Educational qualifications are an advantage at any level, GCSE’s or equivalent in English, Maths and Science are essential.

A Full UK driving license is essential.

This is a full time permanent position with an initial 6 months probationary period.

We are afraid that no private birds or pets are allowed on the job.

Short listed applicants will be expected to attend an interview and a work day over two days as part of the selection process.
