Lympne Wild Animal Parks are situated in South East Kent and work in
conjunction with The Aspinall Foundation as part of a charity committed to
protecting rare and endangered animals from extinction trough captive breeding
and reintroduction programmes.

Lympne parks have enjoyed great success in the breeding of many rare and
endangered species in captivity, our long term objective has always been the
introduction of captive breed species back to their natural habitat and we have
had some notable successes with this.
We have a vacancy for a Registered Veterinary
Nurse to work with our veterinary team in the area of zoological and
conservation medicine for a 5 month temporary contract with the possibility of
permanancy. The position would start at
the beginning of August. The candidate
will work with our established veterinary team. This position would ideally
suit a veterinary nurse with experience of
general practice, preferably experience in zoological medicine and at
least a keen interest in zoological/exotic
medicine.
Daily travel to
Howletts Wild Animal Park will be required so a valid driving license is
essential. Own transport will occasionally be needed.
Working hours will
be five days out of seven including some weekend work.
