WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre

37.5 hours per week working 5 days from 7 to include weekends and bank holidays

£17,115 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Slimbridge Wetland Centre to join the mammal team. The mammal department at Slimbridge is a well-established collection of specialist wetland mammals with potential for development. The mammal assistant will work with the Living Collections Supervisor for Mammals to continue the smooth running and further develop a diverse and interactive wetland mammal visitor experience.    

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and well-functioning presentations team with extensive experience among them. We are looking for someone equally enthusiastic and positive to become a flexible part of the team and deliver daily talks with our resident otters and other presentations animals. The role also presents opportunities to be involved with the other two sections within the department and work with our extensive amphibian collection and our unique upcoming wetland bird display.
