Full-time Aviculturist
Desert Falcons is recruiting for a full-time Aviculturist / General Maintenance Person based in Carmarthenshire.
We are seeking someone with common sense to look after our breeding pairs and undertake general maintenance tasks like mowing lawns and site repairs.
Candidate Requirements:
- A good understanding of falcons is essential
- An understanding of breeding is desirable
Your jobs will include:
- Food preparation and feeding of falcons
- cleaning of footbaths/ baths/ pens etc.
- help moving falcons for pen cleaning and shipping.
- maintenance of all the gardens.
- general site maintenance and repairs
You have to be able to work in a small international team in the busy periods and be able to work alone in the winter.
