WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre

37.5 hours per week working 5 days from 7 to include weekends and bank holidays

£20,202 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Slimbridge Wetland Centre to join the Living Collections Team working primarily with our Ectotherm collection, which sits within our Presentations section. We are proud to hold one of the largest amphibian collections within the UK with a diverse range of species to care for.    

The Role

The successful candidate will join a dynamic presentations team with extensive experience among them. We are looking for someone to become a flexible part of the team caring for our amphibians and aquaria, and to deliver daily animal talks and presentations. The role will also, on occasion, involve working with our wetland mammal collection and our wetland bird demonstrations. 

About You

Experience in working with amphibians is preferable, but any herpetology or aquatic experience would be valuable. A passion for educating people about the environment is a must and experience in public speaking would be welcomed.
