Animal Keeper - Living Coasts



Living Coasts, Torquay’s Coastal Zoo, is looking for a keeper with aquarist experience to become part of the animal collection team. You will initially work on the fish, invertebrate and seal section but also be trained as an integral part of the keepering team looking after a range of birds, fish, invertebrates and mammals.

You will have some experience in the operation and maintenance of life support systems and have a good understanding of the health and welfare issues relating to managing fish collections.

With an Advanced National Certificate in the Management of Zoo Animals you will also need to be a capable communicator as all animal staff give talks and demonstrations as an integral part of their work.
