Education Officer and Work Experience Coordinator

£13,390 per annum

This full time permanent position involves delivering daily talks around the zoo, teaching and evaluating sessions for school groups ( Keystage 1-4), working with several SEN/BESD groups who complete practical programmes on a weekly basis. In addition, the post will involve organising and running conservation fundraising events and co-ordinating the zoo’s work experience programme. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working individual with a passion for conservation. Applicants should have relevant animal or teaching qualification, with experience working in a zoo environment preferred.
