WOW! Gorilla Outreach Officer

Fixed term position until 31st August 2011
Salary Range £16,750 - £17,500 per annum (pro-rata for months worked)

Our Learning Department requires a full-time Outreach Officer to deliver our WOW! Gorilla programme to schools, businesses and community groups.

You will be required to provide and coordinate an outreach and support service to all schools, community groups and businesses that sponsor/buy a gorilla sculpture as part of the WOW! Gorilla programme. Background information on this programme can be found on our website http://www.bristolzoo.org.uk/

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, wildlife and conservation knowledge with the enthusiasm to share this with others. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be flexible and able to work under pressure. Basic ICT skills are essential.
