Tai Wai Small Animal and Exotic Hospital is a well established Veterinary Hospital in a ‘green’ area of Hong Kong. We are situated in a traditional area close to mountains and country parks, yet still within a short traveling distance of the city. Hong Kong is a great place to live, it’s a gateway to exploring China and the rest of Asia, has better weather than the UK and low tax rates.
We are a progressive professional Hospital that prides itself on providing the highest standard of care and compassion for all our exotic and small animal patients.
Our current ABVP(Avian) specialist is returning to teach in the USA therefore we are looking for a new veterinarian to complement our team of 7 vets, 2 UK Qualified VN’s, 15 Vet Assistants, 5 receptionist and 3 cleaners.
The position would suit a veterinarian with current experience in exotics, but individuals with a strong interest who are willing to work towards further ‘exotic’ qualifications would also be considered.
Compassion, a good sense of humor and great interpersonal skills are a must. Emphasis is on a ‘team approach’ to high-quality medicine and surgery.
The Hospital is well equipped with all the usual toys, including everything needed to perform high quality medicine and surgery on exotics.
Salary is production based and there is the option of working either a 4 or 5 day week. One month Annual leave and one week CPD leave provided per year. CPD is actively
encouraged and an allowance provided. Applicants must be able to become registered with the Hong Kong Veterinary Surgeons Board.
