Senior Aviculturist


Waddesdon Manor, now owned by the National Trust, is an outstanding French château built in the 1870s by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild to house his vast collection of art. Within the Manor grounds is an exceptional Aviary housing more than 40 species of birds with a reputation for breeding success.


We are looking for an experienced Aviculturist to join the Aviary team. Ideal candidates will have at least five years experience within a bird collection with a specific knowledge of passerine species and a degree in a relevant subject. The candidate must also be happy to work on a seven day rota, be computer literate, have a clean driving licence and enjoy working as part of a team.


We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday and a company pension scheme. In addition we can offer accommodation.
