zoOceanarium Group is continuing to expand their team and looking to recruit a talented Assistant Marine Mammal Trainer for an exciting facility in the United Arab Emirates.  As the Assistant Marine Mammal Trainer, you will assist the team with daily operations - daily animal health care, husbandry and training. Experience in training animals is essentials.

Duties:
•        Assist in animal diet preparation.
•        Provide environmental enrichment.
•        Record behavioral observations.
•        Data entry.
•        General cleaning duties.
•        Train and maintain animal behaviors using positive reinforcement.
•        Ensure animal welfare, training techniques and handling guidelines are as per our company standards.

Position Requirements:
•        1 year paid experience training marine mammals
•        Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
•        Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
•        Must be physically fit and must be able to swim
•        Must be able to work in a dynamic multi-cultural team
•        Willing to work shifts (early mornings and late nights)
