Opened in 1971 Knowsley Safari Park is
one of the biggest and best safari parks in the UK. Knowsley Safari Park
now has a five mile safari drive with lions, tigers, white rhinos and our
infamous troop of olive baboons. The park also has a large walkaround area
offering close up views of elephants, giraffes, meerkats otters and many more
animals.
We are currently recruiting for Presenters who have a
talent for informing and inspiring our visitors to work alongside our Learning
& Discovery department. You will be engaging
with, and performing to, our visitors in both a one-to-one capacity and group
presentations.
You will be confident and enthusiastic as well as hold a
keen interest in wildlife and conservation.
You will receive full support in learning new material and assistance in
developing your presenting style.
Experience of working with children is desirable, however the confidence
and ability to engage with people of all ages is most important.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Hours are variable but likely that you will be expected to
work 5 days in every 7, including bank holidays and weekends and flexibility is
required. The rate of pay will be £7.00 per hour for 16-30 hours per week.
