We are looking to recruit a new self-motivated Technical Instructor to work with our Animal Management team, providing support and technical assistance to the teaching staff at our Mottingham campus.  You will be required to give practical demonstrations and technical instruction in varying aspects of animal care to our students.  The successful candidate will work as part of a small team responsible for the care of the College animals and help to develop the collection under guidance from the Animal Unit Manager.

The ability to communicate effectively is essential for this role, along with substantial relevant practical experience in a range of animal care activities. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK. A prohibition check will be carried where applicable.

As well as a contributory pension scheme, health cash plan, salary sacrifice scheme and free car parking, this post also attracts 25 days’ holiday per annum, (pro rata), excluding bank holidays.
