About The
Role
In this
role, you will lead and coach a multicultural team, perform husbandry tasks and
other senior management duties. You will ensure that best animal welfare
practices are in accordance with marine education, research and conservation.
As a Manager
of our Aquariums, you will plan, develop, and implement long and short-term
goals for the department. You will consistently meet, support, and share the
collective goals and policies of the department, division, and company.
In this
managerial role, you will train, mentor, supervise and motivate the husbandry
team. Furthermore, thorough understanding, application, and training of staff
in animal husbandry principles is essential to ensure the optimal health of
animals with emphasis on culturing of live foods and animals, disease
recognition, treatment, diagnosis, and prevention. Also, Water Chemistry
testing, interpretation, and management of results.
