Keeper for Reptiles. Amphibians and Invertebrates

Marwell Wildlife is a registered charity dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and the natural world, working in Africa and here in Hampshire.

We are currently looking to recruit an animal keeper to work within our Reptile, Amphibian and Invertebrate department.
Previous experience working in a zoological collection would be an advantage.
The applicant should possess the Advanced National Certificate in the Management of Zoo Animals or related qualification.
Roles and responsibilities include daily animal husbandry, maintaining good health of the animals and keeping daily checks and records.
The chosen applicant is expected to be able to work well as part of a team, be hard-working, self-motivated and able to use their initiative. The applicant must possess good interpersonal skills including talking to members of the public which is an essential part of the role.

A full driving license is advantageous.

Successful applicants for vacancies with Marwell Wildlife may be required to have a Criminal Records Bureau check as a condition of employment.

Closing date 10 August. Interviews to be held on 19 August.
