Opportunity:

To join Dubai Falcon Hospital which is internationally recognised for its work with falcons (http://www.dfh.ae/).

The hospital isalso responsible for the provision of medical services to zoological collections and small animals (cats, dogs). The hospital is located in the centre of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Requirements:

Experienced veterinary nurse with background in the medical care of wildlife (avian preferred).

A pragmatic and practical view of the issues surrounding hunting and sustainable utilisation of wildlife is necessary.

Duties:

The position will include a mixture of duties including operating theatre duties, provision of care to hospitalised animals (mainly falcons) and medical support to wildlife collections in consultation with the hospital vets.

Applicant must be keen and self-motivated. Accommodation provided and competitive package provided to the right person.
