Six month fixed term contract plus weekend allowance

Brent Lodge Park Animal Centre is a small animal collection managed by the parks, countryside and events service for Ealing Council. Animals held include a diverse range of birds, domestic and farm animals, primates, reptiles and amphibians. We are a member of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA), with a commitment to education and conservation issues. Candidates must have practical experience working with a wide range of species, and hold a relevant animal husbandry qualification or equivalent. They must be able to demonstrate ability to welcome and engage visitors and be able to assist with delivering educational activities. Candidates must also have a strong interest in conservation issues and be able to generate innovative ideas for our contribution towards wider conservation efforts.



The successful candidate will be expected to work weekends, Bank Holidays and early and late shifts as part of a rota.
