Organisational skills and some planning experience/ability are essential to the role. We are seeking proven team players/managers who can take our husbandry programmes and visitor experiences to new heights. These are “hands on” positions that include at least three days a week on section assisting with husbandry and developing team skills and abilities. Positions vacant are:

TL3 Team Leader; Natives and Primates (MZ and Warrawong Sanctuary)
Based at Monarto Zoo, this position includes the primate team, the largest component of primates being a modern and complex Chimp facility and an expanding group. The native species collection includes a number of conservation species and active programmes. This position is also responsible, with the Curator, for overseeing the species husbandry component and future collection planning for Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary – purely native species. We will soon be focussing on how visitors get to meet some of the many native species held behind the scenes and the incumbent will be involved in master planning of Monarto Zoo to facilitate this.
