Animal Keeper
Marwell Wildlife is a registered charity dedicated to the conservation
of biodiversity and other natural resources. Our 140 acre zoological park in
the heart of Hampshire is home to over 180 exotic and charismatic species in
beautiful landscaped surroundings.
We
are currently looking to recruit Qualified Animal Keeper. Roles and
responsibilities will include ensuring high standards of animal welfare,
health and animal husbandry at all times and keeping daily checks and
records.
Applicants
will need to have previous experience in animal husbandry, ideally working in a
zoological collection, hold 5 GCSE’s or equivalent and a valid driving licence for the UK
The
successful candidate will be able to work well as part of a team, have the
ability to use their initiative, display interest and commitment to animal
welfare and conservation, and must possess strong verbal communication
skills as talking to members of the public is an essential part
of the role.
