We’re looking for an
enthusiastic, hardworking, motivated person to join the animal team here at
Dartmoor Zoological Park.
Set in 33 acres of
beautiful woodland with some stunning views of the surrounding countryside and
a fantastic collection of animals, Dartmoor Zoo is a unique family day out in
the beautiful South Hams of Devon. Our collection includes tigers, lions, lynx,
cheetah, bear, wolves, tapir, capybara, raccoon, meerkats, monkeys, a fantastic
collection of bugs and reptiles and much more.
In this exciting
role you will help lead our passionate team to provide high standards of animal
care, incorporating the latest advances in husbandry. Not only this, but
working alongside teams in education and research, you will be involved in
opening up the eyes of our visitors and students to the complexities of the
natural world.
