We have an amazing opportunity for a talented and experienced regional curator UK, based at our offices in Weymouth, Dorset. You’ll lead our outstanding curatorial teams across the UK and be involved with the construction and development of new SEA LIFE Aquariums.

Reporting to the Head of SEA LIFE Marine Programs and Engagement for Europe, this role is responsible for delivering effective strategies for the development of expertise across all aquarium sites to ensure consistently high standards across all Aquarium exhibits. Key objectives include leadership through development of the curatorial team, providing strategic direction for all facets of staff and exhibit development, collection planning Animal Husbandry and Life Support Systems, implementing departmental plans and guiding budgets as well as creative development of compelling animal exhibits that assist in the driving of visitation and maximisation of visitor experiences.

To be successful in this role you will be a confident and open communicator that has the ability to communicate with the site General Managers, Curators, Marketing departments to deliver the highest quality live animal exhibits and interactive opportunities. Extensive industry experience is essential and a degree in Marine Science or equivalent is an advantage.
You will have the ability to deliver consistent world class animal husbandry standards within compliance frameworks and be able to develop a strong collection management strategy working across both the Asian group and the broader global business.
