Deputy Section Head (Primates) - Howletts Wild Animal Park

Due to internal promotion, Howletts Wild Animal Park, situated in South Kent is recruiting for a deputy section head to assist the section head of our Primate section in managing our unique collection of endangered primates.

Applicants must have a proven track record in a similar position at a recognised zoological collection. Excellent animal husbandry skills, team leadership and interpersonal skills, good written and oral communications skills, the ability to motivate and develop others and a valid driving licence are essential requirements for this position.

You must posses good all round animal husbandry skills and be capable of deputising for the Section Head. Previous experience working with primates is essential

A proactive approach coupled with good communication skills and an overall understanding of the role of the modern animal collection are essential as is a full clean driving licence
