Gorilla Keeper - Howletts Wild Animal Park
(Salary dependant on experience)
Howletts Wild Animal Park, situated near Canterbury is an established wild animal park with significant success in the captive breeding of rare and endangered animals. The park houses the largest collection of Lowland Gorilla s in captivity with over 100 births to date.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible individual to join the Gorilla section. You will need a relevant animal qualification and/or previous experience working with animals. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with gorillas within a mainstream animal collection or a related field of in- situ conservation.
Candidates must be physically fit, work well as part of a close knit team with good communication skills and capable of delivering talks to the visiting public. A valid driving licence is essential.
