AAP, Rescue Centre for Exotic Animals
The work and ideal of AAP is to
improve, in a professional manner, the welfare of abused or neglected exotic
mammals from all over Europe. This is achieved by providing shelter to animals
from the illegal trade, circuses, animal-testing laboratories or private
individuals. For most animals we find suitable homes worldwide in reserves,
zoos or in our own facilities in the south of Spain.
AAP also works on the prevention of animal
welfare problems by influencing both Dutch and European policy- and
decision-makers and the general public. To achieve our goals AAP actively
strives for strategic cooperation with
professional colleague organisations in this field. With more than 40 years of experience
AAP is an international authoritative expert.

Policy Department
Within AAP, the Policy Department is responsible for influencing
policy and (public) campaigning in Europe.
The Policy Department establishes the connection between sustainable
