Salary: £22,675 - £29,613 per annum

Location: Plumpton, Nr. Lewes BN7 3AE and Netherfield…as required…

At Plumpton College we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Animal Management Lecturer to join our largest division. We are very lucky to have an extensive animal collection with a wide range of exotic, small and large animal species at the centre of our animal management provision with students learning from Level 1 to BSc (Hons). We are seeking an outstanding lecturer to deliver effective practical teaching, learning & assessment. You will support Animal Management students to maximise their potential and make positive progress towards their timely success, future study and employment.

The Practical Lecturer / Coordinator will work with the Curriculum team to coordinate the delivery of the practical curriculum and enrichment within the division. This role combines teaching with operational responsibilities within the Animal Management Centre to ensure the delivery of the best possible experience to students.

With a minimum of a Degree qualification in Animal Management or a related subject, the ideal candidate will also possess a minimum Level 3 teaching qualification, or be willing to gain a relevant formal qualification in role. You will be a professional, hardworking and confident team player with a track record of good or outstanding teaching. With a clear passion for your subject, you will be able to inspire and motivate our students. This role requires a willingness to undertake some weekend and bank holiday working.
