QUALIFIED VETERINARY NURSE

QUALIFIED VETERINARY NURSE

Animals Asia signed an agreement with the Vietnamese Government to bring bear bile farming to an end.  In 2021, we will be taking the final steps to make that happen and require a qualified Veterinary Nurse to fulfil an upcoming vacancy in our team of two nurses, supporting a wider veterinary team of eight members working to make the world a kinder place for animals.

You will be primarily based at our Vietnam Bear Rescue Centre, in Tam Dao National Park, while being an important member of the team to provide oversight at our new sanctuary in central Vietnam. You are flexible and enjoy the challenge of working remotely.

You are highly motivated, experienced, and empathetic. You are passionate about animal welfare and people. You have highly developed interpersonal skills, and get deep satisfaction and fulfilment from providing hands on training in veterinary nursing and animal welfare. You get a great deal of job satisfaction by seeing other people learn from you and being able to fulfill tasks as excellently as you can. Most of your hands on nursing in this role will be in supporting and supervising veterinary interns to be able to provide evidence-based veterinary care.

This is an incredible opportunity to join a dedicated, high-functioning and cohesive team which is Kindness in Action.
