Experienced Animal Keeper – Invertebrates

Experienced Animal Keeper – Invertebrates

It’s a bug’s life here at our Highland Wildlife Park and we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced invertebrate Keeper to join the Conservation team to help support the growth of our native invertebrate conservation programmes. You will get to work with a variety of species including assisting with our established pine hoverfly breeding programme, as well as, designing, initiating, and running breeding programmes for additional threatened native invertebrates across a wide range of taxa. Your work will contribute directly to our conservation efforts as you work as part of our team to get these threatened species back out into the wild in Scotland.

The role

Perform all assigned duties to ensure the smooth running of invertebrate conservation breeding projects, aiming to optimise the quality of animal welfare and to deliver or support delivery of invertebrate conservation breeding programmes in support of RZSS’ vision and mission.
