Planet currently has a great career opportunity available in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates. We are looking to hire a Zookeeper Biologist for our enchanting
bio-dome, a tropical rainforest in the heart of Dubai. The ideal candidate will
have a solid working knowledge of zoo and aquarium safety, animal training, and
animal husbandry. The Green Planet is part of the Dubai Holdings Entertainment

The
Biologist is responsible for all life support operations in the facility,
including the husbandry, nutrition, training, maintenance, and wellbeing of
plants & animals inclusive of fish, mammals, reptiles, invertebrates,
amphibians, and birds. As well, responsible for the up-keep and maintenance of
all exhibits, ensuring accuracy in record keeping, utilizing ZIMS database,
disease prevention and assisting in the development and maintenance of
world-class exhibits. Provides educational information about the facility’s
animal population through activities such as interacting with the public,
conducting keeper talks and animal encounters, staffing interpreter stations,
and conducting tours.
Promote good
business practices with special focus on achieving the highest possible
standards of service excellence and ensure highest level of guest service with
regard to Safety, Courtesy, Education and Efficiency.
