Avon Gorge and Downs summer education officer
Part-time 22.5 hours a week over 3 days

A part-time summer education officer is required on a 6 month fixed-term contract.

You will be required to teach stimulating, enjoyable and informative sessions to school groups and play schemes on the Downs. You will also help widen the range of groups that visit the Downs by promoting these sessions to new audiences. You will also plan and run children’s holiday events and provide craft activities at public events.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, British wildlife/conservation knowledge and the enthusiasm to share this with others, the ability to work independently and in a team, ICT skills, the ability to work under pressure and be flexible.

This is a part-time post of 22.5 hours a week, over 3 days. The salary for this position is £17,823 per annum, pro-rata for months and hours worked.
