Zoo Keeper in Africa

An initial six month – one year contract available for a keeper working at a zoo in Mali, West Africa. The Zoo is currently undergoing reconstruction and the requirement is to be based in Mali and working with a wide range of species, including Lion, Chimpanzees, Hyena, Leopard, Baboons, Hoofstock, reptiles, birds, fish. The day to day work is carrying out general husbandry duties, working with existing staff and reporting daily to project coordinator/zoologist.

Salary and accommodation negotiable, and is relative to the living costs of Mali and not the UK. Applicants must be French and English speaking, must have good general animal keeper experience, and be educated to degree level or equivalent. Please contact direct and send CV via email.
