Work Experience Placements

Durrell is delighted to be able to offer a number of work experience placements
which will give you a unique understanding of working for an international
conservation organisation.
There is the chance to develop your skills across a variety of departments at Durrell,
including the mammal, bird, herpetology, lab and veterinary, education and marketing
# departments.
There is also the opportunity to complete research projects and dissertations during
your placement.
A placement at Durrell will provide valuable experience to add to your CV showing
future employers that you are committed to a career in the conservation sector.

We will be taking applications from mid-September 2018 for:
  • Summer placements (minimum eight weeks) - Flexible starting May/June 2019 to
September 2019.
  • Short-term placements (minimum eight weeks) - Flexible starting to September
2019 to May/June 2020
Long-term placements (9-12 months) - Flexible starting 1st September 2019 to
August 2020.

Closing date for applications will be 31st December 2018.

If you are selected for interview we will arrange to contact you via Skype or telephone
in early January 2019.  
If you are required to complete a research project during your placement please
indicate this at the time of your application.
