Parc Zoo du Reynou is located in a
peaceful and wooded setting of 100 hectares. It hosts 600 animals of 130 species and is the natural home to
hundreds of local species. The philosophy of the team is to make local and worldwide
biodiversity known, protect it and make people want to protect
it.

Under the
authority of the holder of the « certification of ability », the head keeper is
responsible for the operational
coordination and direct management of the animal team, which he/she supervises
while respecting the requirements
of safety (visitors and staff) and animal welfare. He/She manages the work
schedule of the keepers, plans and
organizes their daily and exceptional tasks, manages the stocks of food and
equipment. He/She controls the proper
execution of the tasks of the keepers and the respect of the protocols in
force, of which he/she is involved in
the drafting and updating. He/She participates in the educational enhancement
of the site and performs animal tasks.
