Animal Care Technician/Student Supervisor - Education Section

This is a fixed term, part time position working 32.5 hours per week

We are accepting applications for the above position within the Learning Department at Bristol Zoo Gardens.  Our Education Section requires an Animal Technician/Student Supervisor to provide high standards of husbandry and welfare for its collection.  This collection is used as a teaching resource for Bristol Zoo’s Education sessions, and also for Animal Care students from South Gloucestershire and Stroud College who attend practical animal husbandry classes on two afternoons per week during term time.   The successful applicant must have animal care knowledge and experience including exotic animals.

This is a fixed term position for 1 year, starting on 29^th October 2012, working 32.5 hours per week.
