Experienced Exotic Veterinarian in Hong Kong

Wai Small Animal and Exotic Hospital is a well established 24-hour
hospital that prides itself on providing the highest standard of care and
compassion for all our exotic and small animal patients.
We are looking for an experienced exotic
veterinarian to work in both our main Tai
Wai Small Animal and Exotic Hospital and our exclusively exotic hospital Island Exotics.
Sadly, our current ‘Registered Specialist in Herpetology’
is leaving us to take up an Assistant Professorship position in the USA. The current
available position would suit a veterinarian with at least 4 years’ experience
with exotics and have ideally completed a post-graduate qualification.
We have a double boarded ABVP (Exotic Companion
Mammal and Avian) specialist on staff available to mentor veterinarians
pursuing further studies in exotics.
Compassion, a good sense of humor and great
interpersonal skills are a must.
Our emphasis is on a ‘team approach’ to high
quality medicine and surgery.
The position involves working 4 or 5 days per
week. Benefits include one-month annual leave and at least 2 weeks CPD leave
per year. CPD is actively encouraged and an allowance is provided. Salary is
production related with a guaranteed base.
Hong Kong is a great place to live, as well as
having very low tax rates it is a gateway to exploring China and other parts of
Asia.
Applicants must have graduated from a
University classified under Schedule 1 or 2, of ‘Qualifications recognized for
registration as a veterinary surgeon in Hong Kong’ of the Hong Kong Veterinary
Surgeons Board.
