offer the exciting role of Senior Aquarist at Sea Life Great Yarmouth – a full
time, salaried position on a 12 Month fixed term basis.
By joining us at the
Sea Life Great Yarmouth as a Senior Aquarist you will be working with the
Displays Supervisor and Curator in leading the team of Aquarists. You will help
to care for the animals, as well as the life support systems that are so vital to
their wellbeing. You will also play a vital role in maintaining the exhibits to
the highest possible standards and ensuring that they surpass the expectations
of our visitors. You will actively engage with visitors and communicate as an
expert on matters arising around displays and the creatures or marine
environment working with the rest of the displays teams to generate innovative
ideas to enhance displays or husbandry.
Ask yourself these
questions:
- • Do you understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer service, and have experience of successfully motivating others to do so?
- • Do you like working in a fast paced environment?
- • Do you have a good understanding of animal husbandry, and animal behaviour?
- Do you have a working knowledge of Life Support Systems as employed in public aquarium systems?
