A vacancy has arisen
for a Trainee Animal keeper at Africa Alive!
for maternity cover.
This position is
based on a 40 hour per week contract which will run for approximately 9 months
or longer, depending on return.
Working to a high
standard under the direction of the Head Keeper, you must be prepared to work
with all kinds of domestic and exotic species and will also provide support for
the rest of the keeping team.
Applicants must be
hard-working and conscientious, prepared to work as a team and expect to work
weekends and Bank Holidays. A keen interest in zoo animal husbandry is
essential. Ideally, candidates should have some zoo animal experience but this
is not essential. Salary dependent on experience and age. A full clean driving
licence would be advantageous.
