Opportunities for Professional Falconers

Opportunities for Professional Falconers

If anyone is looking for a falconry job or stepping stone into it:
Opportunities for professional falconers.

With an established breeding record of 45 years, two breeding farms and three training farms, our clients include the Royal Families of the Middle East. We breed Gyrs and Gyr hybrids for hunting and racing.

We are currently expanding our staff team and are looking for:
• Experienced falconers
• Apprentice falconers
• Internships (more details available www.falcons.co.uk or email admin@falcons.co.uk for our intern prospectus and application form)
• Seasonal positions are also available for both breeders and trainers

Our breeding season runs from March until July, our training season from July until September (UK), racing and hawking in the Gulf until February. We have our own base and racing team in UAE and the hawking trips extend to North Africa and Asia. We provide staff housing at all locations, staff vehicles, and further training as needed.
We are looking for fit, keen people to join our friendly teams in Wales, Wiltshire, and Northumberland, directed by Dr. Nick Fox, OBE.

You will need a valid work permit for the UK and a clean driving license as a minimum. Relevant experience, degrees or language skills are appreciated but are not as essential as a burning interest in falcons.

Please contact the General Manager, Wayne Cumming, for application details: wayne@falcons.co.uk

The deadline for applications is midnight on the 19th of January 2020.
