About the role…

 

The successful individual will be leading and managing a variety of operational, animal care, and horticulture functions and activities within the Taronga Zoo Operations Division. This role is responsible for the people and teams that deliver the daily care and husbandry for the animals in Taronga’s care and people and team that delivers the horticulture functions at Taronga Zoo. The position also leads the safety, maintenance, policy and regulatory requirements in relation to wildlife and horticulture operations across both Taronga Zoo and Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo. It is responsible for ensuring the highest level of integration between Wildlife Operations and Taronga’s guest experience and conservation outcomes.
