Al Bustan Zoological
Centre is a privately-owned zoo, based in Sharjah in the UAE, with a wide
variety of local and exotic animal species. We are expanding our management
team and are looking for a dynamic person for the following responsibilities:
• Zoo
Registrar, ZIMS, ZIMS Medical, Studbook queries and reports
• Handle
all studbook communication and species information requests.
• Zoo
Month report compiling
• Zoo
based office administration
• Responsible
for administration of general zoo email account.
• Responsible
for social media account management.
• Manage feed orders and deliveries
• Zoo
related orders
• Medical
stock order with close collaboration with Veterinary team.
• Point
of communication between zoo management and Zoo accounts department
The successful
candidate should have the following:
• DMZAA
or similar zoo based management qualification.
• An
excellent understanding of computer software such as MS Office, etc
• An
excellent understanding of ZIMS (Species360) and ZIMS medical.
• Excellent
communication skills.
• Attention
to detail.
This vacancy
requires the candidate to be in good physically and mental health with an
ability to manage stress in this demanding environment.
