Avon Gorge and Downs summer education officer



Salary £15,450 per annum, pro-rata for months worked

A summer education officer is required on a 6 month fixed-term contract.

You will be required to teach stimulating, enjoyable and informative sessions to school and other groups on the Downs. You will also help widen the range of groups that visit the Downs by promoting these sessions to new audiences. And, assist with summer holiday events and craft activities at public events.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, British wildlife/conservation knowledge and the enthusiasm to share this with others, the ability to work independently and in a team, ICT skills, the ability to work under pressure and be flexible.

The salary for this position is set by the Avon Gorge and Downs Wildlife Project steering group and is £15,450 per annum, pro-rata for months worked.
